|Two A-10 teams land in this week's AP Top 25 poll. They are Butler at #9 and Virginia Commonwealth (#19).
Butler moves up four spots in the poll following a week that began with a win at home over Richmond, 62-47. After that came an upset win at home against then-8th ranked Gonzaga, 64-63.
Virginia Commonwealth moves up three places after wins against Duquesne, 90-63 and St. Joseph's (PA), 92-86.
Duke takes back the number one ranking following a week in which they played just one game, a victory at home against Georgia Tech, 73-57. Louisville falls from the number one ranking with a win against Connecticut, 73-58 and a loss to then-6th ranked Syracuse, 70-68. Wichita State breaks into the Top 25 at #20 with a win at home over Illinois State, 74-62 and an upset win at home over then-12th ranked Creighton, 67-64. Cincinnati comes in at #21 with wins against then-25th ranked Marquette, 71-69 and DePaul, 75-70. Ole Miss shows up at #23 with wins against Arkansas, 76-64 and Vanderbilt, 89-79. Miami (FL) also enters the Top 25 at #25. San Diego State falls out of the rankings this week with an upset loss at home to UNLV, 82-75 and an upset loss at Wyoming, 58-45. Illinois, UCLA, and Marquette also drop out this week.
