La Salle's Tyreek Duren has won the StatSheet A-10 Player of the Week award for the week ending January 28th. Kellen Dunham from Butler has won StatSheet's A-10 Freshman of the Week. And finally, St. Joseph's (PA)'s Halil Kanacevic takes home StatSheet's A-10 6th Man of the Week. Duren had great stats in shooting (50%), rebounding (5 per game), and scoring (16 pts per game). The La Salle junior played well for the Explorers in wins against 9th ranked Butler and 19th ranked Virginia Commonwealth.

Duren topped all scoring for the Explorers with 16 points while also adding 6 assists in a close 54-53 win over Butler. That was followed by 16 points and 3 assists in a 69-61 upset of Virginia Commonwealth.

This is the first StatSheet A-10 Player of the Week honor for Tyreek Duren. The runner-up this week is senior Ramon Galloway from La Salle. Honorable mention goes to Demetrius Conger, a senior from St. Bonaventure. Kendall Anthony finished 10th and was the highest ranking player from Richmond.

StatSheet A-10 Freshman of the Week: Butler's Kellen Dunham

In a 54-53 loss to La Salle, Dunham registered 15 points on 54% shooting. Following that in an 83-71 win against Temple, he totaled 17 points and 4 rebounds.

During a 59-49 win against Xavier, he led all scoring with 15 points and added 6 assists.
