Richmond Loses Big against No. 23 Virginia Commonwealth 71-53

Richmond was outrebounded 50-28 by No. 23 Virginia Commonwealth and was crushed by the Rams 71-53 in conference play on Friday, March. 14. The game was pretty much decided at halftime, with Virginia Commonwealth up 38-22. The Spiders are now 1-4 versus AP-Ranked teams this season with the loss. T

Richmond Picks Up Win against Duquesne 76-64

Richmond squared off with Duquesne on Thursday, Mar. 13 and defeated the Dukes 76-64 in conference action. Terry Allen put on a show for the Spiders and got a game-high 27 points and seven rebounds (3 Ast 3 Stl). Kendall Anthony had 23 points and added three rebounds. Ovie Soko registered a double-double for the Dukes on a team-high 23 points and 13 rebounds.

With two outings that included a team season high in scoring, T.J. Warren, a 6-8 sophomore from NC State, has won the StatSheet NCAA Player of the Week. West Virginia's Devin Williams is the StatSheet NCAA Freshman of the Week and StatSheet's NCAA 6th Man of the Week is Marquette's Todd Mayo.
